If you have lrft a church because of offense, now is the opportunity to repent snd submit back ti the will of GOD. The bible says to honor those who the LORD has put over you. Yes they are hypocrites, so are you, but GOD knows hat HE is doing, HE gave the commandment, "honor your mother and father" after the fall of adam right? Some dead give aways that you are not doing the right thing by leaving are: 1.) All your thoughts on the pastor is how he is wrong and you are right. 2.) Admit it, you are stuck in a sin that you cant break free from. 3.) Your spouse does not agree with a decision or thought to find a new church. 4.) You might have a bitter resentment toward a pastor or congregation member, but never addressed the issue to the person. 5.) Get upset when offered advise, correction, or sometimes encouragement either by pastor or fellow church member, and they are coming from scripture. (Or at work by a boss or supervisor for that matter) 6.) Have a problem with people asking or telling you to do or not to do something. If your conscience registered any of these and you might not have left the church, might not of contemplated it. Go to the LORD and allow yourself to be corrected by GOD. HE is going to show you sin in your life first (either something you are doing or not doing) and then HE is going to show you something you are doing that you have been oblivious to. This is called maturing and only comes by more dependance on GOD. If you do not resolve these issues or repent of sins in your life, eventually you will leave a church offended. Not so much because you might be struggling with sin, but because you are letting pride get in the way, and not allowing the LORD to deal with it.
