If you have not heard, or dont know I have accepted a position with the Irvington Police Department contingent upon my passing multiple exams late this month! Its something I based my collegiate curriculum around, and something that I put off while dad was sick. Its been a dream of mine since taking Intro to Law Enforcement with then BGPD captain Mary Harris, and ex-BGPD chief Bill Waltrip. Ive had several friends receive agency positions and luckily, ive been given the chance to join one myself. Thank you to Dr.James Kanan, and Dr.Douglas Clayton Smith for all your guidance over the years. God willing I will be seeing you all soon to finish up my degree! And thank you to my American Rental family for being there for the last 2+ years as well. To every manager, and every store I have worked for its been a truly memorable experience I will never forget. We worked hard, we argued, we sweat, and we served our respective communities well! In my last 6 weeks I look forward to helping Brandenburg continue to grow, and building positive relationships with our new customers! Its been a wild ride getting to this point, lots of ups, lots of downs, but I think thats what they call life. Thank you for your kind, supportive words everyone! -Me
