If you have not read The Great Deformation, by David Stockman, I do not want to hear a single word from you about our economic situation. The egregious and demonically malevolent deformation of financial and capital markets to the great profit of the 1%, and the expectedly horrific detriment of Main Street taxpayers and small business, comes alive in all its depravity and illegality. It began in the 1920s with the governments absurd handling of our vastly overextended post-war production capacity in agriculture, and the inevitable contraction as war-torn European agriculture came back online (this, my friends, was the ONLY cause of the Panic of 1929, which ONLY became a lengthy depression due to further insane policy decisions championed by the banking elite and their puppets in DC). The prevailing socialist, proto-Keynesian policymakers of the time refused to let their constituents (the banks that foolishly underwrote the ag expansion) eat the losses of their own poor business decisions, and so opened up the Treasury for the first time to crony interests, forcing every taxpayer to eat the losses. And since then, with the exception of Ike (POTUS 1950-58) and William McChesney Martin (fed chairman 1948-1960), not a single regime has worked to undo this terrible policy bent. They ruthlessly, increasingly, and inexorably pillage the citizens of their property, their labor, and their very lives. Party does not matter. Regime does not matter. These bloodsucking bastards want it all. As the sham becomes impossible to shield from the average persons view, the policy is shifting to: surveil, disarm, imprison, and murder the victims of the Great Deformation... Those being, You, me, and any other poor or middle-class sap stupid enough to fund these scams with their labor and property, and the taxes extracted from each at the barrel of a gun. Im leaning ever-more toward anarcho-capitalism. Christopher Cantwell would be proud. Me, Im a little scared.
