If you know that your life is off-course, it’s perfectly - TopicsExpress

If you know that your life is off-course, it’s perfectly acceptable — even mandatory — to start making serious adjustments before you know what you’re doing and before you have all of the answers. If you wait until you have a perfect plan, you won’t ever change anything. You’ll simply continue on a path that you already know is wrong. Make an adjustment. Then make another one. Even a big one. If you go too far, compensate. The people who love you will accept it. Those who won’t accept your mistakes don’t really love you anyway. It’s not really about other people, though, even if you spin it that way in your own head. It’s really about your need to be right — and your fear of not being perfect. Give yourself permission to make mistakes and fail. You’ll eventually get where you need to go. But if you stay where you are out of fear — when you know you’re off-course — you’re guaranteed to end up in the wrong place and be miserable.
