If you liked Final Fantasy Tactics, Ogre Tactics, or [Insert - TopicsExpress

If you liked Final Fantasy Tactics, Ogre Tactics, or [Insert Franchise Here] Tactics, and havent tried Disgaea, I dont think we can be friends much longer. The fact that Disgaea exists at all is pretty impressive. This is a game with layers upon layers of depth that are totally optional and will most likely even be totally overlooked / missed by casual players. That a whole god damn series is built around these systems, each game more intricate than the last, is even more rare these days. That it does it with massive amounts of humor, while still maintaining excellent srpg gameplay, makes these games all the more awesome. Seriously, if you want a game that continuously adds features and complexity (not even considering the truly hidden content) you cannot go wrong here. Bring issues before a senate, such as the creation of higher powered classes, increasing the monsters level, or upping the quality of items in shops? Bribing the senators with items they like to sway them to voting in your favor? Straight up beating the shit out of the senators who voted nay (if you can..) to force the vote to pass? Creating characters that are students of other characters, so they can share abilities if they are close to each other on the battlefield, eventually teaching their abilities to each other forever? Reincarnating characters into other classes, restarting at level one? This is much, much, more amazing than it sounds, trust me. Want a character with literally billions of HP who hits for millions upon millions of damage? This is how to do it. Going inside any god damn item you want, and doing a challenging dungeon that subsequently raises the power of that item the deeper you make it in the dungeon?
