If you or someone you know have reason to believe that you might qualify for relief under the announcement were all anticipating from the President tonight, heres one very simple thing that you can do right now: prove your physical presence in the United States TODAY, November 20, 2014. I am more than reasonably certain from the DACA experience that applicants will be required to prove that they were in the country as of the day of this announcement. So make a call from your cell phone! Text a friend! (Be sure to hold on to the bill, obviously.) Take a date-stamped photo of yourself in front of your city hall or any recognizably American location with todays paper! Buy a bottle of champagne at your local packie with your credit card! Anything you can do to prove that you were here today might save trouble later.
