If you purchase a car at the end of the month, youre losing money. According to a new study that took a statistical sampling of all car sales, consumers paid the highest average amount for vehicles on the 31st day of the month — $31,545. Compare that to what they paid just two days later, on the second day of each month — $30,291. Thats over $1,000 dollars in savings for a difference of just two days.
