If you really think Roman Reigns is worse than John Cena in the ring then you cannot call yourself a pro wrestling fan. In my opinion, Roman Reigns is an average wrestler, hes not bad but definitely not good either. The reason why Reigns is a better wrestler than Cena, is because his moves look much cleaner, he doesnt botch and also hes a really good seller. Romans facial expressions are better than Cena, he makes it believable and thats all part of in-ring psychology, these are the elements that make a good worker. John Cena botches every single match literally, it may not be obvious but if you study every match thats hes in, youll find at least one mistake or him no selling. Also, John Cena has been wrestling for like 15 years, Romans been wrestling for what, 5 years? I think those that watch his Smackdown matches (which hes able to execute a few more moves) notice how hes much more advanced than Cena is, as an in-ring worker (all-round wrestler). At the end of the day, characters, charisma and how theyre being utilized are just bonuses which make me enjoy somebody but if they can win me over with their wrestling ability, then theyll earn my respect and appreciation, even if theyre not charismatic. I would prefer to see much more people than Reigns but the WWE product is so bad, that I would get excited about any average wrestler getting a push and potentially replacing Cena. -DM
