If you reflect on people, you will find that they fall into 4 different categories: 1) obedient to Allah and happy in life 2) obedient to Allah and unhappy in life 3) Disobedient to Allah and happy in life 4) Disobedient to Allah and unhappy in life -If youre from the first Category, then this is normal because Allah SWT says: Translation: Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him We will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do (i.e. Paradise in the Hereafter). Surat Alnahl, verse 97 -If you fall into the fourth category then this is also normal, because Allah SWT says: Translation But whosoever turns away from My Reminder (i.e. neither believes in this Quran nor acts on its orders, etc.) verily, for him is a life of hardship, and We shall raise him up blind on the Day of Resurrection Surat Taha, verse 124 - And if you fall into the second Category, then this could suggest 2 things, either: 1) Allah SWT loves you, and wants to test you in order to raise your level on the day of judgment; And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to the patient ones Surat Albaqara, verse Translation: And surely, We shall try you till We test those who are the Mujahideen (those who strive hard for the Cause of Allah) and the patient ones, and We shall test your facts (i.e. the one who is a liar, and the one who is truthful) Surat Muhammad, verse 31 OR 2) There is an error in your obedience, and you have sins which you have not repented for yet, therefore the Almighty will test you so that you remember to go back to him; And verily, We will make them taste of the near torment (i.e. the torment in the life of this world, i.e. disasters, calamities, etc.) prior to the supreme torment (in the Hereafter), in order that they may (repent and) return Surat Alsajda, verse 21 - However if you find your self falling into the third category, Becareful, because this is the worst situation one could be in, as the ending will be very severe and Allahs punishment will certainly fall on you IF you do not repent and change before it is too late, Allah SWT says: Translation: So, when they forgot (the warning) with which they had been reminded, We opened to them the gates of every (pleasant) thing, until in the midst of their enjoyment in that which they were given, all of a sudden, We took them to punishment, and lo! They were plunged into destruction with deep regrets and sorrows Surat Alanaam, verse Translation: And when We decide to destroy a town (population), We (first) send a definite order (to obey Allah and be righteous) to those among them [or We (first) increase in number those of its population] who are given the good things of this life. Then, they transgress therein, and thus the word (of torment) is justified against it (them). Then We destroy it with complete destruction. Translation: And let those who oppose the Messengers (Muhammad ) commandment (i.e. his Sunnah legal ways, orders, acts of worship, statements, etc.) (among the sects) beware, lest some Fitnah (disbelief, trials, afflictions, earthquakes, killing, overpowered by a tyrant, etc.) befall them or a painful torment be inflicted on them Surat Alnur, verse 63 When Allah SWT wanted to describe his messenger in the Quran, he did not speak about his appearance, wealth or lineage, rather he spoke about his manners: Translation: And verily, you (O Muhammad ) are on an exalted standard of character Surat AlQalam, verse 4 When Aysha, May Allah be pleased with her, was asked about the messengers manners PBBUH, she said: his manners were the Quran -Translated from another source- Know what category you fall in and strive to improve your self.
