If you still don’t know how much your health insurance is going to cost, join the club…Over the weekend, the Obamacare health exchange websites were unavailable during off-peak hours. This was different from how they were unavailable for most of last week, because this time, they were down on purpose. Programmers are trying to fix the problems that resulted in virtually nobody being able to sign up for health insurance. Obamacare defenders say it’s just a minor glitch caused by too many people wanting to log on at once. I.T. experts are skeptical. They note that the Drudge Report, a site famously run by “one guy in his pajamas,” routinely gets seven times as many hits in a day without crashing. The worry is that the site was badly designed and can’t handle all the info being uploaded to it. But even if it can be fixed, there could be a new problem right around the corner. The handful of people who did get insurance quotes are howling with sticker shock over at the Obamacare Facebook page. That one-year delay the Republicans wanted might be looking better and better to the Democrats.
