If you study history, during ancient times, a father always took his children to a Guru, who in turn brought him closer to God. That is one of the reasons, why comparatively there was a higher alignment to morality & spiritualism in those period, compared to today’s times. Today, majority are ignorant of the need to have a Guru in one’s life. If you find a selfish world with exclusive focus of ‘me, mine, myself’ and lack of spiritual alignment with the world, that is primarily because there is no Guru in many people’s life. What a Guru can do, guru alone can do? Guru is the reason for my eternal happiness, as he gives strength to lead a competent life. He made us to realize the need to embrace materialistic possibilities along with spiritual possibilities. Most importantly, he helped us to reconnect with our origin and made us realize that we are a child of God.
