***Relief Assistant Luxury Lodge*** We are looking for a relief assistant for a luxury safari lodge in Mpumalanga. The Relief Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of all aspects of the Airstrip/Lodge Administration, Gift Shop and Administration Assistant departments while covering for these departments. This will include meeting guests at the airstrip on arrival, compiling the daily Daysheet accurately, coordinating arrivals & departures, taking payment for guest bills on departure and communicating special requests to the Lodge team whilst covering for the Airstrip/Lodge Administration Position. It will also include stock management in a cost effective profitable gift shop in line with budgets by maintaining a good wholesale supplier base and an aesthetically pleasing gift shop and ensure the guests have an authentic shopping experience whilst covering for the Gift Shop Position. Furthermore it will include the day-to-day coordination of all aspects of Administration such as completing attendance and time registers, assistance with staff queries, answering the switchboard, processing of staff permits, post distribution etc. whilst covering for the Administration Assistants Position. Qualifications / Experience needed •Preferably 2 years experience in 5 Star Establishments in front office Secretarial or Reception experience/qualification will be an advantage •Retail Management, previous Sales experience •Good business acumen and understanding of cost of sale and gross profit •Experience of stock taking and stock control •Hotel or Tourism School (or similar qualifications) would be beneficial but not essential •Computer literacy essential (Microsoft Office, Excel, EasyPos and Protel would be beneficial) •Good command of the English language and fluent in written English •Driver’s License essential •Good typing skills would be an advantage For full job specs e-mail [email protected]
