If you thought LEGO bricks were simply for building castles and forts and that one object you could never get quite right, it’s probably a good time to reevaluate your relationship with these multicolored construction bricks. Devoted DIY aficionados have already figured out how to make lots of things with LEGOs: lamps, vases, key holders, tables, and lots of other admittedly cool things. But, what if the bricks themselves werent used for building, but became a vessel to create other objects? On HomeMade Modern’s Youtube channel, in a video titled video How to Make DIY Concrete Nesting Tables with Legos, Ben Uyeda demonstrates just that, as he shows viewers how to transform the LEGO into a mold for a pair of concrete nesting tables. Ben takes DIY furniture building to a whole new level when he takes a bunch of the toy building bricks and stacks them into a squared U-shaped structure, filling the frame with Quikrete cement.
