If you took a picture of our house tonight, it wouldnt be pretty!!!!! Toys everywhere. Dishes that need to be done. I am wearing a red tshirt and blue sweatshirt with non matching black jogging pants. Lots of noise, Wii games abound. But even though if you took a picture it wouldnt be pretty….it would be BEAUTIFUL. The toys mean that our kids are happy and healthy, playing and having a ton of fun. The dishes mean that we have enough food and everybody is feeling good enough to eat again. I am able to sit comfortably in my own home with my whole family, safe and happy and healthy and not worry about what I look like or what Im wearing. The noise and games and fun….they are just that. 2014 was a good year. We had our ups and downs, like with any other year. We had so many great memories made with each other and our extended family and friends. Lots of laughs, milestones and so much to be grateful for, always! Chris and I each lost a grandmother this year. Heaven gained two wonderful women and while we were so sad to say goodbye to them, we know that they are happy and watching down from above. And to make things even better, grandma Laura is a monarch butterfly that visits us regularly during the spring and summer; and grandma Shirley is a red cardinal that just made a visit a few days ago to our window! We look forward to 2015. We have a lot of plans for family fun throughout the year. Hard to believe our boys will be turning 6 and 4, and our little baby girl wont be a baby anymore and will be turning 2! Micah will be starting full day kindergarten, and Isaac will start preschool. That alone is a milestone that makes me smile just thinking about. There was a time not that long ago that our focus was on helping him rid his body of cancer and survive; and now we look forward to the wonderfully normal milestones of first days of school! And with January we know that Isaac will be on the countdown of only 1 year left of treatment. So many great things to look forward to. On that note. Thank you for being a part of our lives. Thank you for your friendship, support, love and care. We couldnt do it without you and love you all more than words could ever really express! Happy New Year to you all! #2015herestoagreatyear!
