If you use Charter internet, you are very likely to be experiencing outages right now. This is due to a DNS failure of some sort. Please know that your websites *are* online and functioning. It is Charter that is down. This can be verified by using another company to access your website(s) with. If you want to get your Charter internet working again during this outage, you can do the following.... 1. For windows you need to open up your Network and Sharing Center (You can do a search for this in your start menu) 2. Click Change adaptor settings. (Should be a link on the page) 3. Right click on local area connection, then left click on properties 4. Scroll down and single (left) click on Internet Protocol version 4 , then click properties 5. Click on Use the following dns server addresses 6. Type in 208.67.222.222 for preferred and 208.67.220.220 for the alternate IP addresses. 7. Click close 8. After Charter comes back online (this might take a while), go back to the same location and click on automatically detect DNS. Things will be back as they were once you do. As always, thank you for your business and kind words! :)
