If you use air travel, be sure to look carefully from which airport you are flying from. Paris has several airports. CDG and Orly are easy access from Cité Universitaire. Orly is roughly 25 minutes by RER (direct line) and CDG 45 minutes (direct line). Beauvais is NOT accessable by RER and you will need to take a bus. Last year students who did it said it takes around one hour to get there and cost around 20 euros one way. If you are traveling within the Schengen zone, you only need to be at the aiport 60 minutes before your flight. I suggest to be there 90 minutes. If not, plan to be there 120 minutes before for passport control.
