If you want to be powerful, then walk in wisdom. Wisdom is your power. Walking in wisdom will profit you, and enable you to attract certain realities to your life that you may not have otherwise. “Wisdom makes one wise man more powerful than ten rulers in a city.” ~Ecclesiastes 7:19 Imagine for a moment that you have a certain wise man competing against ten rulers. On the surface, it would appear as though the wise man were disadvantaged. To begin with, he is alone, so he is outnumbered. Secondly, these ten rulers have positions of influence. So logically, you would think that the group with ten rulers has all the advantages. You might think that the ten rulers would floor the lone wise man in a contest between the two groups. However, if you see things that way, you may be mistaken. This is because appearances can be quite deceptive. Optical illusions exist, so you have to be careful how you interpret what you see. This is one reason you must never judge only with what you see with your physical eyes. Also, do not panic based on what you see with regard to your circumstances. God’s word tells us that as a result of the wisdom in his life, the lone man is actually more powerful than the other ten rulers. So, don’t seek your strength in numbers; seek it in wisdom. Wisdom is what you need to surmount the challenges of life. Wisdom is what you need to push that project forward. Wisdom is your power.
