This new video is so, so disturbing. Even if we forgive the chokehold, the ensuing apathy and neglect is appalling. An unconscious dog would have received better basic life support and that is disturbing. At least, take off the handcuffs, and if he was truly breathing, the least a lay person would do is to place him in recovery position. For trained first responders, this is unacceptable. The ABCs...no one checked the A (airway). Even when you think someone is breathing, when unconscious under these circumstances, a simple chin lift or jaw thrust would have opened the airway to make the so-called breathing better. Oh...she did check a carotid pulse on the big guy...with her gloves. Anyone who has tried that knows how ridiculous that looked. Why? Incompetence? Apathy? Collective hysterical cop shock syndrome?
