Friends, We as Coloradans are fiercely independent and want to be left alone to make our own decisions on how to live our lives. Yet, arrogant liberals in Denver believe they know what’s better for you than you do. To make things worse, instead of listening to the people who put them in office they are taking their marching orders from special interest groups and East Coast Politicians like Michael Bloomberg and Joe Biden. This was never more apparent than during the legislative session when House democrats were taking calls on their personal cell phones from none other than Joe Biden during the gun control debates. It doesn’t stop there; Michael Bloomberg is pouring millions in this state to ensure our communities look more like New York City than the independent state we love. There is hope though. While we lost the votes during the attack on our second amendment rights, we certainly won the debate. We won the debate because Coloradans stood up to ensure our voice was heard. As the Minority Leader in the state House I was incredibly proud to be the standard bearer of that voice to fight for our western values and our western way of life. As the Colorado Attorney General I will continue to be that standard bearer fighting to ensure Colorado maintains its western heritage. I can’t do it alone though. I need your help.
