If you want to progress in life, then compete with only one person - and that is your own self. What you did today, whatever records you created today, you must break that record tomorrow. Tomorrow you must excel. You must become better than what you were yesterday. Everyday ask your own self, Have I improved myself? Have I been able to generate unconditional love more than what I had yesterday? Have I been able to accept other people more than what I was accepting them yesterday? Have I been able to grow spiritually more than what I was yesterday? That should be the question. If at all you have to compete, compete with your own self. Set your own standards about yourself. And that time dont look around. Only then the unconditional love will emerge... Never, never judge a person... Never complain but CREATE.
