If you want to see me frustrated, watch me play this song. I can play the entire piece perfectly ten times in a row, then when I go to show someone or record, I get stuck. It’s not that my mind goes blank or anything, because my brain knows exactly what to do. It just doesn’t transfer to my hands fast enough. My brain is much quicker than my hands, and I need to work on that.I worked on this part until my hands hurt. It’s still not even close to where I want it to be. But through this I realized- Success doesnt come all at once. I’ve improved since I started, and that’s all that matters. Slow improvement is still improvement - and determination is key.
