If you watch the full unedited version of this video you can see that the father was combative and interrupted the traffic stop. You can also see in the unedited version (much much longer) that the sons autism had no effect on any of the situation. It seems to me the dad showed up in order to use the disability as an excuse to get sympathy for the initial violation. And when the father could not get the sympathy he needed he became combative and ignored the officers commands.
