If you work and are dedicated to your earthly master, (boss), you will receive wages and perhaps hear well done. Do you think God will expect less of His children? As a child of God, you are enrolled in the greatest calling and work assignment in the entire universe! Your assignment is to show the world Christs likeness and carry out His unfinished work. Your heavenly calling exceeds in importance all earthly calls and has both earthly and eternal rewards! Stop using fleshly purposes for your life and seek to know Gods plans for you. Press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus! (Philippians 3:14) His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. ...Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble, and YOU WILL RECEIVE A RICH WELCOME INTO THE ETERNAL KINGDOM of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 1:3-11).
