If youre a 1st timer to obstacle racing, you might be wondering what to wear at The Nuclear Races? Its worth investing in fast drying, breathable fabric (technical T shirts & skins) but remember they will get VERY dirty & wet. Cotton gets heavy & cold when wet; skin dries quickest, so the rule of thumb is less is more! (despite the weather) For 1st timers, trainers of any kind will do, the bigger the grip the better, but more importantly, tie your laces tightly or theyll DEFINITELY get stuck in the mud! Warm wash down, heated changing areas and a hot cup of tea should see you right when youve finished, but packing a hat to put on afterwards is also a good idea! #WeLoveHappyNukers #TopTips
