If youre a bass player, and own anything ampeg has made under the reign of loud technologies... your amp is a rabid pile of pond scum , just so happens I own one of these poor excuses for live equipment and it just left me hanging for the 3rd time DAYS before a show, Ive been giving ampeg the benefit of the doubt for far too long, before I owned the SVT 4 PRO I owned the SVT6 PRO which I also blew 3 times before that.... my rant does not come lightly. Bottom line is ampegs new stuff (I cannot say about the svt classic, that maybe the only thing between them and being the geo metro of amp makers) cannot hold up to pushing their own cabinets (btw I use an ampeg 8x10 cab. Those are sweet were talking amplification here).
