If youre facing half-an-hour of boredom, one option would be to check out this weirdness from the silent era. Douglas Fairbanks stars in a Sherlock Holmes spoof where the hero powers his crime-fighting skills by injecting lethal amounts of cocaine into himself & spazzing his way through a hive of opium smugglers. The plot (and some directing) was written by Dracula director, Tod Browning. Its said Fairbanks hated the film so much he tried to pull it out of distribution. My reaction after recently taking a watch: Jeez...and I thought Scarface had a lot of blow in it!
