If youre going to be a good person do it just because you enjoy being a good person. BECAUSE if you do it with the expectation that karma will be good to you or anything like that, you will be VERY disappointed. Because life simply doesnt work like that, or at least that has been my experience. Im a good person because its so easy to be bad, so easy to hurt others for personal gain, and so easy to simply care about yourself. Yes life is harder for good people, but I personally enjoy being one of the few, and not like most. I accept that being good wont get me anything more or any further than someone bad, but thats ok. Ill still continue being a good person, for its who I am and how I was raised.
