Igbo have always claimed Yoruba people are betrayals. Dont you think Okunronmus actions support that notion? How could a 70-year-old plus Yoruba elder, with limited lifespan of less than 30 years, betrayed his own race easily over money and perhaps political position for his immediate family members and friends? At a time the Yoruba people demanded for a National Conference with Ethnic Nationalities as delegates, Okurounmu as the Chairman of Presidential Advisory Committee, proposed to President Jonathan election of one delegate per federal constituency. At a time the Yoruba requested representations be made to the National Conference per Ethnic Nationalities, Okurounmu proposed to President Jonathan that nomination be made per state. At a time the Yoruba wanted delegates to the National Conference as representatives of the Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa-Fulani, Ijaw etc., Okurounmu proposed delegates to the National Conference come as representatives of Women, Youths, Traditional Rulers, Christians, Muslims, Physically Challenged, Labour, Trade Unions etc. At a time the Yoruba asked that Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa-Fulani, Ijaw and other Ethnic Nationalities nominate their representatives to the National Conference, Okurounmu proposed that President Jonathan and the States Governors nominate representatives to the National Conference. At a time the Yoruba demanded Ethnic Socio-Political organizations like Afenifere, Arewa Consultative Forum, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Middle Belt Forum, South-South People Assembly as participants to the National Conference, Okurounmu proposed Interest Groups like Organized Private Sector, Professional Bodies, Faith-Based Organisations, the Diaspora, Executive, Legislature, Judiciary arms of Government, Armed Forces and the Police as participants to the National Conference. The Ohanaeze Ndigbo has rejected the 4000-page of rubbish Okunronmu presented to President Jonathan but Afenifere, Yoruba Elders Council, Yoruba General Assembly are not talking. Senator Femi Okurounmu is a disgrace to the entire Yoruba race.
