Ikare is a town blessed with myriad of natural endowment. The youths are vibrant and dynamic, the elders set the interest of the town as their priority and negate selfish interest. . . they ensure and enforce local laws to check, correct and counter social vices. If you misbehave and disturb the peaceful co-existence of the town there is no how you can escape from countless strokes of cane the elders will bless you with. Mused, then my question is this. Why do we have 3 main jobs/works in Ikare? There are 3 works in Ikare, is either you are a teacher, or you work in the local government secretariat or you ride okada/ drive a cab(agolo). Who is to be blamed for this? Is it the government, the parents or the youths? I heard the government sited an ultra modern market in a central location of the town and people are adamant to patronise it ( meanwhile countless of jobs can be generated from there, directly or indirectly) even it will even minimise casualties in the cases of re-occuring accident at the so called garage. Gambling cases have even got to primary school pupils, you see a primary school pupils coming back from school, the next thing you hear is oya 10 10 naira, I can throw my sandal far away than you can throw yours oya lets try it) . Now back to the question. Should we blame the parents, the government or the youths?
