Ill just start this out by posting my horror story. This is in regards to Beachwood Apartments and Townhomes in Harrison Township, MI Why do people keep moving in here? Stop it! Youre in for the worst renting experience of your life! RENTER BEWARE! This place is a slum! The potholes are huge and full of standing water. The insect problem is going to be 10x worse this year because of all that standing water, and they keep saying itll be fixed in three weeks. Every time I talk to someone, which is rarely. See, the leasing office doesnt pick up the phone. Ever. It always goes to the outside office. I cant even get a hold of a human being at corporate offices. And if youre handicapped, stay far far away. The sidewalks are uneven. The lights are out at the mailboxes, which is very dangerous. And to top it off, they raised our rent for next year. So were going to have to move AGAIN before we buy a home. To top it all off, they dont tell you when youre thinking of moving in that, thanks to Selfridge, theres next to no cell service here. Also, only Comcast and AT&T are available here, and AT&T high speed is only available in some units. I suggest others with problems do what I did. Report this company to the Better Business Bureau, The Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Macomb County Department of Health.
