Ill just throw this out there for people who are single meaning not living with someone with few relatives around. A friend of mine had a stroke the other day. He is currently in the Hospital recovering. He is unable to communicate and because of that he was unable to answer questions. Fortunately he had me down at his condo complex as a point of contact. So if you have a friend that does not have relatives that quickly can be notified or know that something has happened to you be sure to have a backup plan in place. Fortunately I was able to provide some good info to the doctors so they would not waste precious time trying assess his background. Had he not had me down I doubt I or most of his friends would have known he was even in the hospital. The first 24 hours is the most important time to treat a stroke victim. This is a public service message from Eddie :) So DO IT!
