Illinois Republican Candidates should benefit the most from this foul voter mood...which is nasty towards incumbents. Like 2010, the wrath of the voters in Illinois will be turned on the incompetent, corrupt, self-interest cronyism first Democrats. Republican Gubernatorial candidate Bruce Rauner will take full advantage of this voter mood and will emerge as the new leader in Illinois politics. Absolutely no doubt in my mind. I also predict that Bruce Rauner will win in a landslide with a MANDATE from the voters to straighten out the Springfield financial mess...and to do what is necessary to restore our economy, and bring back jobs to Illinois. I believe, there is no other man in Illinois capable of accomplishing this Herculean task. In order to make this happen...we will need ALL Republicans, TEA Party supporters, a majority of Independents, and a sizable group moderate Democrats. Unions will come out in full force and will use every nasty trick in their repertoire to defeat Bruce Rauner. This showdown has been years in the making...like Wisconsin. WE THE PEOPLE will decide who caused the problems and what must be done to solve them. Republicans appear more motivated than Democrats to vote in November because of the opening to give their party Senate control, enlarge or hold the House GOP majority, and in the process submerge President Obama’s already-underwater job approval numbers.
