This is one of those posts where reactions can go either way. Im a patriot, I support my country. But just like a marriage, friendship or a relationship with your child, you can love and support unconditionally, but still be disappointed in their actions. We are so far to the left or so far to the right, that we sometimes forget to ask ourselves what is the right thing to do? I dont agree with calling out just one political party, but I agree with the message. We might not be at war with guns and violence among ourselves like other countries, but dont doubt for one minute that we are not at war among ourselves. Until we can learn to get along, compromise, and do the right thing, not just what my political party thinks is the right thing, then we are lost. The question is are we strong enough to acknowledge that we are lost and are we willing to ask for directions?
