Miller Nancy K. Miller is Distinguished Professor of English and Comparative Literature at the CUNY Graduate Center. A leading scholar of autobiography and memoir and a leading feminist critic, Miller is the author of many books, including most recently Breathless: An American Girl in Paris (Seal Press, 2013) and What They Saved: Pieces of a Jewish Past (Nebraska, 2011), which won The Jewish Journal Book Prize in 2012. Her recent edited collections include Rites of Return: Diaspora Poetics and the Politics of Memory (Columbia, 2011) and Picturing Atrocity: Photography in Crisis (Reaktion, 2012).
