Ilo Facebook, Lovely day today! our daughter, Netter_Shoks aka Ese got inducted into the University of Marylands chapter of Omicron Delta Kappa (ODK). https://odkumd.wordpress/ The event was held at the memorial chapel on campus. The music was beautiful, haunting, like a wedding. I went with Lion Cub. Fearless Fang couldnt come, he was home sick. Ominira aka Omo drove down from her campus with a zip car. $10 an hour. Will cost me $100 today. Still cheaper than a car. She wants a car. 😐 Sore subject. More on that later. So proud of Ese. She got announced as a Banneker-Key scholar and graduating with two degrees (Biology and Art). 44 applicants were chosen out of about 340 applicants. She joins an exclusive club that includes US President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Vice President Alben W. Barkley, several senators and distinguished American leaders. In the tradition of ODK, her name will be engraved on the grounds of the fountain in the McKeldin Mall on campus. Our daughter is a star! I should ask for an autograph! LOL! By the way, Ese is a proud alum of Sherwood High School, Olney, Maryland; she and Helen Cheung another Sherwood HS alum made the list. Go Warriors!
