Im SO disappointed that this movie got an R rating. I read this book about 2 years ago and LOVED it so much I read it again immediately (something I never do). Its an incredible true story about a women who loses her mother to breast cancer and starts using heroin to self medicate the pain. She decides to hike to PCT all by herself --and she had NO experience as a hiker. AMAZING! Nothing in the book that I would say could warrant an R rating--Hollywood always gets it screwed up. (Im hoping the rating is because of the Heroin use and maybe, for once, they are being careful about glorifying the drug to a young audience) READ the book, WILD Im sure its better anyways. youtu.be/tn2-GSqPyl0
