Im a Republican and I support a minimum wage increase. Its not a career opportunity, but after all, thats all President Obama has created in six years in office---part time jobs. So I say YES! If you are a small start- up company and cant afford to pay an employee $10 dollars an hour, then do the work yourself until you can afford someone at a reasonable salary. And if youre a fast food company, such as McDonalds, Burger King, Wendys, IHOP, Applebees, Taco Bell, or a Walmart or Target - screw you buddy. Who do you think you are fooling? This is where I part with do/nothing Republicans. Always choose doing the right thing over ideology. It works both ways.
