Im a few days late for posting this but Steel City Precision Rifle Challenge was probably the most FUN match I have shot all year! Thanks to David Tapp, John Cuckler, Jim Saunders and Richard Crouse for putting on a fun/challenging match. Thanks to all the sponsors and Thank you to the ROs who took the time to be there to make sure the match ran smoothly. The proceeds went to Army Snipers Association, a check for $6,500 was presented to them. If you shoot any matches next year, make sure this one is THE MUST BE match!! This match had some great stages. This was the most pistol in any match I have ever shot! I think one of my favorite stages was the Scissor Lift This was an ingenius stage that John Cuckler devised. You stayed in prone and had 3 targets to engage before the lift reached 30 ft in the air. Once at the top and the descent started, you had to start over engaging your targets. Congratulations to everyone who took the top spots! Out of 85 shooters there were 3 females competing.
