Im a private nanny, the kids parents like me to make the girls healthy foods low in fats, salt, sugar and preservatives etc and organic when possible. Tonight I made slow cooked Greek lamb and Miss 3 and miss almost 5 adore it and tonight I feed it to their grandparents and they loved it too! They both went back for seconds! While it needs a bit of prep at the end its really easy and always turns out well! We have a great organic butchers and they sell a fab Greek lamb, a boneless piece of lamb marinated in all sorts of yummy herbs and some oil. While I often fluff around with it In the oven (and run the risk of it ending but a bit dry ... Today I took it straight out of the bag and put it all in the sc, nothing extra as I figured the oil in the dressing and juices from the lamb would be enough. I cooked it on high for 2 hrs then low for 3. I took it out and left in in a bowl for 10-15 mins then teased it out with a fork.... It was ssssoooo delish! I serve it with -sautéed with onions, mushrooms, tomatoes and garlic -Feta - tomatoes - cos lettuce And pitta!
