Im a single mother of three, and the first time I took my girls to Disney World, I had to save BIG! For half a year I kept silent about all of it. We would watch Disney movies. They would browse the Disney website creating pretend Disney packages for us. It was so difficult, but I was silent. I paid for 11 days at Pop Century Resort. Bought the Deluxe Dining Package. I made sure I went online to find out which parks were open longer each day and made reservations accordingly. A few days before I surprised them, I had typed two letters: one from Mickey Mouse inviting them to Disney World, and a fancy letter from Cinderella inviting them to her castle to enjoy the Castle Package in which fairy god mothers would do their hair, nails and make up. I also paid for tickets and transportation to Universal Studios so they could enjoy the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I surprised my daughters the day before we were to leave. I told them to go check the mail box bad they were ecstatic to discover who had written them a letter! When they found out where we were going and for how long, and all the extras they were going to enjoy, they cried. I cried. These girls have been through so much and it made me the happiest person alive to finally be able to do this for them.
