Im a veteran. I know so many fellow veterans who are suffering. I am a patriot. I love this country, even tho 50% of the people in it are batshit crazy and brainwashed. So, when I see people say they support the troops, and that means nothing more than a ribbon magnet on their car, and a bunch of rhetoric.... I wanna rage. I wanna rage for all of the people who have died, because they were sent to the war, for oil, or for money, or for lies that increase corporate margins. I wanna rage BECAUSE YOU CANT SAY YOURE GIVING A SHIT ABOUT THE TROOPS, WHEN VETERANS ARE SUFFERING! When troops are waiting 400+ days without healthcare, for their disability approvals, but billion dollar jets and tanks receive instant funding, we are lost. The hypocrisy and lies must stop. As you celebrate this Memorial Day, take a second to reflect on what this day is. Think about those who have yet to die, but will soon, because their claims go unfulfilled. We shouldnt celebrate this day, we should all be working during it. Reaching out to those veterans who went to war to defend this nation, and so desperately need our help. Until we show the veterans we care with deeds, and not words and ribbons, THEN and only then, should we celebrate.
