Im actually for anything that will promote & grow the community, these facilities are a great thing to have in the area, I just want to see actual figures on the plans for sustaining the facility for years to come. I mean, does it have to be so big from jump street? Couldnt it be scaled back to the size park a community can sustain & then add-on as we see how it is doing, according to the numbers that showup & utilize it? For instance: A team from Lafayette attends a tournament here at Atoka one year & then Coquille in Covington the next, Are they going to say on the 3rd year; I want to go back to Coquille cause they have so much more to do around there, or are they going to want to come back to Atoka? where (other than the park) theres,,, well nothing to do.
