Im apparently remarkably sensitive these days. Just blocked someone I sort of knew in high school, but whom I thought was being something of a jerk today. Didnt want to, mind you, but a little dispute just started to escalate, and sadly like a fourteen year old, I got drawn right into it. He dug in his heels, and I just decided to delete my comments, as this really isnt the forum for something like that. It was at that point he started being rude, somewhat mocking. As I said, I barely remember him from high school, but lets be honest, that was well over thirty years ago. I dont know what events have shaped him. But that the conversation turned so sophomoric really struck me. Worse yet, he seemed to revel in my backing down. I really enjoyed his comments, though we disagreed. But I havent got the time or the emotional bandwidth for this.
