Im asked all the time, How does it feel to be a dominant female musician? Are you comfortable? Does it get hard? Do you enjoy it? I LOVE MUSIC AND WHAT I DO BUT.... Its NOT easy. Overlooked a lot. Dont always fit in. People automatically have/give their assumptions and perception of me because they either dont know me or understand me. I cry when Im angry/mad because sometimes I feel helpless as a musician or even worst.... a LEADER... BUT when I earned my title and respect, all the pain and hard work behind it is worth it. Esp when I have great male friends that are honestly there for me with no strings attached. Annnnnd he just texted me this and more to whom is given, much is required. Dont stop. You got this.
