Im astonished the left is criticizing Obama for not acting strong enough in the face of ISIL. Critics from both sides bash the President for wanting to build a strong global coalition... they say it takes to much time. I think time is exactly what we need. Obama has a consistent foreign policy message: to enable those fighting against terrorism, building broad coalitions and keeping US troops at home. He has supported Yemen and Somalia by providing intelligence and drones but not troops. Nearly 1 year ago he negotiated a deal with PUTIN to disarm Assads WMDs. To say Obama doesnt have a strong foreign policy message is simply lazy. Yemen, Somalia, Libya, Syria and so far the plan to disperse ISIL are all examples of similar strategies. Bernie Sanders post-speech comment The goal, it seems to me, is to address the crisis in the Middle East.. but not forget the crises facing the American people
