Im at a horse trial in Texas, and today was Lilas and my first day of competition. She was very soft and willing in dressage, although the mucky footing from last nights rain was a challenge. We did well in stadium jumping: I did my part, and she jumped well. Tomorrows cross country is the hardest weve ever done. The ditch, up bank, and down bank are all in bending-line combinations, and we have a real trakehner too! (Note to self: its just a damn log!) Itll be a good test for us!
