Im at home alone, Kirby is hunting in Kansas and also working as a guide (haha working). Im watching The Pioneer Woman Christmas cooking show and feeling wayyyyyy inadequate. Im writing down all the recipes such as herb roasted prime rib, with horseradish sauce, Parmesan creamy potatoes ( she slices her potatoes on a mandolin slicer!) I wanted to tell her that Betty Crocker also makes these scalloped potatoes that come in a box but I dont think she needs that info. Her house is decorated lavishly, then I thought Food Network does that for her at her ranch house! I write all her ideas down thinking Im going to have all these new recipes to share with my family knowing I probably wont follow thru with all that! It is a very happy day, my daughter Kelsi got engaged! She and John make such a sweet couple! Ive made my peanut butter cheese ball covered with Reeses peanut butter morsels and chocolate chips to take to my church ornament exchange get together, having my Sunday school class catered dinner tomorrow after church. A lot going on today! Thought about wrapping some gifts but Im too busy watching tv!
