Im at nearly 350 signatures to get on the ballot for State Senate. A woman signed my papers today and she interrupted me saying, I dont need your schpiel, I know you, I used to live in your house on the first floor. I know your dad. Small world because her old apartment is now my apartment. LOL. Another lady who at first told me she didnt live in Medford came up to me after she finished shopping at the Super Stop&Shop where I am collecting signatures and she said, Hey, I lied to you on my way in. I do live in Medford. I just didnt recognize you at first. Youre the guy who always goes to the Medford City Council meetings and speaks up when you feel the urge, right? I told her yes, thats me. She replied, Hand it over, sonny. You got my signature, my vote, and everyone in my houses vote because when you speak up at the City Council meetings from that podium its the only time that place makes sense. LMAO!!! Too much!!! Politics can be a very humbling experience. The people I work with and for as an activist and member of the MASS GOP State Committee and the Massachusetts Republican Assembly are some of the nicest, smartest, toughest and funniest people I ever met. I am honored and privileged to work with them because I learn how to not only be a better activist and candidate, but a better person. AND, the people I wish to serve as their next State Senator are the reasons we do what we do. The Republican Party cares and we want better elected public servants because the individuals, families, and business owners deserve the kind of representation they can rely on for good stewardship of the public trust. To say I am humbled, touched, and privileged as your Republican State Committeeman, Vice President of the Chapter 5 Massachusetts Republican Assembly group, an activist and a candidate, would be to put it as mildly as I possibly could. God bless you all. God bless America!!!!
