Im covering two topics tonight. The first is about true friends and fake friends. Thanks Penelope Rudd for bringing this one up...I owe you a ride on the Glide... Not many have true Ride or Die friends. But you all do, you just have to figure out who they are. I know who my true friends are and its a damn small circle. I thought my wife was my closest and tightest friend of all. We did everything together and never even had an argument in 18 years. She was my wingman. But I was fooled. Me, of all people had no idea she was screwing some loser behind my back. Boom....Who do I trust now???? I will tell you who you can trust. Yourself and those around you in your inner circle. Until they show you that you cant trust them. There are barely 4 or 5 people that i truly can trust. I will crawl through the fires of hell for any of you if your my friend. Some of you arent my true friends and i get that. Some use me for exposure and personal gain. Im not stupid. I know when im being used, but i will give you just enough rope. You will either use it to help, or eventually hang yourself with it. I will do anything for my friends but if you hurt me or turn against me, i wont hit you, hurt you, or crush you. But i will never ever trust you again and you will never be my friend ever again. Your on your own. That is how you measure a true friend. How far are you willing to go for a friend? If you say I would take a bullet for my friends...would you? Ive had a gun stuck to my head before over a friend....i told em to pull the trigger but they still wouldnt get me to turn. Hes still my friend to this day. What would you do? You need to be that Ride or Die friend...Not just some faceless aquaintance that cant be counted on. You need to be that rock that others break themselves against when others fail miserably. Dont fail. Its in you to be loyal until you draw your last breath for that one moment, you were depended upon and you didnt think twice. Thats character, my friends. MY TRUTH....I LIVE IT.
