Im disgusted with the lack of manners and common decency in society today! Im sat on the metro when an elderly couple with walking sticks get on, so as normal I offer my seat and the lady sat down. Yet NO ONE else offered their seat to the gent who was left standing (clearly struggling) so another seat becomes available and a women my age sat on it, thinking she didnt notice the old gent standing I pointed it out and asked of shed mind giving up her seat for him to which her retort was a stern no!! Other SEATED passengers over heard my request being declined yet no one offered to give up their seat!! A few mins later another seat became available to which I had to dive into and claim dibs in order to offer it to the poor (clearly paggered guy)! I mean come on people show some god damn respect for these people! That generation fought for OUR freedom!!
